More specifically, the association is charged with managing the terms of the protective covenants and restrictions for the association membership, helping to preserve property values and livability. Established in 1977, the ODHA is comprised of 105 homeowners. The homes are located in northwest Corvallis. There are five common areas among the ODHA properties for members to enjoy. These spaces are mostly open grassy areas amid groves of trees. Th e Association is responsible for common area maintenance including mowing, pruning, irrigation, weed control, removal/replacement of diseased shrubs and trees, and so on.
Yearly
assessments
are collected from each homeowner in the
association. Assessments are used to fund maintenance of the common areas,
landscaping projects, printing and
postage of newsletters, and more. The amount of each year's assessment is
set once the budget is approved at the annual meeting. For the past
several years the assessment has been $150. The ODHA is run entirely by volunteer members, and participation is greatly encouraged. If you are interested in serving your community, please contact any board member or email the webmaster . |
